Chelsea Hotel Matchbook, 921 Wilson, Uptown Chicago

Thanks to Mark R. for sharing this. The Chelsea Hotel is now known as the Friendly Towers at 921 Wilson in Uptown.

Thanks to Uptown Update's Facebook post for pointing this one out—I had totally missed it in my search for images. These doors and ticket booth still exist behind the plywood boarding up the entrance to the theatre.

We've been on a lucky streak lately when it comes to finding rare images of Uptown. I won this one at auction earlier this evening. It's the first photo I've seen of the Arcadia Ballroom all lit up. Enjoy!
