In the late 1800s, early 1900s my great-great uncle, William Kemp was said to have been the proprietor of the Grand Crossing Hotel in Chicago and then the Hotel LaFayette according to a report in the Ogdensburg, NY newspaper in 1924. I was wondering if there any way to confirm this.
