Thanks for these great photos. Although, sadly, I no longer work in Uptown, I fell in love with the place.
Those buildings are beautiful as well. I am intrigued by the building that has the built-in billboard for "VSZAGH Musson & Co"
What a beautiful building!
Huszagh and Hill were the architects for the Aragon Ballroom, Viceroy (Lorelei) Hotel, New Lawrence, and many other buildings.
Huszagh and Masson were the financiers for the Aragon and many other buildings.
Beyond that, I don't know much about either company, or how much they overlapped.
It is a stunning building.
What street would Castlewood Terrace be now?
Becky - Its still called Castlewood Terrace, its been a dead end street since the McCutcheon school was built. access is from Marine Drive.
