Gunnison and Sheridan, Uptown Chicago, 1937

Did you have any idea this stretch of Sheridan was once so beautiful?

I was so excited last night when I finally stumbled on it. For the first time, I saw pics of streets that were immediately surrounding where I lived, instead of just the major intersections.

You can see the corner where they built the boys club and an old mansion at the Castlewood terrace and Sheridan intersection that are both gone.
I am having so much fun.
Thanks again Joanne.
