Celebrating the Unique History and Culture of Chicago's Uptown Community
The good old Peter Pan restaurant. I didn't know it went all the way back to '56.
We had a reader write in before who mentioned that there was a Peter Pan dress shop kitty corner across the intersection from the restaurant.I wish this was a better photo; I'd like to find one of the restaurant marquee close up.
Joanne - - re: marquis - - I don't think the Green Mill had a sign that stuck out from the building. That is probably a corner of the Uptown Theater sign, guessing from the distance from the corner.
