Just an interesting image on Flickr of a worker painting windows on the Belle Shore; in the background you can see part of the Edgewater Beach apartments.
With the mint green and cotton candy pink buildings, it looks more like Miami than Chicago!

I was at the Belle Shore in '64 to visit a resident, but have no idea as to what has been done to that building during the past years. I believe that it is landmark structure and wonder if the building has undergone extensive renovation.
