In 1980, Jacki Lyden (of NPR fame) published a book called "Legends and Landmarks of Uptown" with historic photos of Uptown alongside current views. Those "current" views are themselves 30 years old now! Occasionally, copies of this out-of-print book surface on eBay, and we spotted one this week available here: Landmarks and Legends of Uptown (Clicking the photo will also get you there.)
