Joanne Just saw the Arcadia decal post which gave me immediate flashbacks to a former life. I had long forgotten those decals..I had one on the outside of my skate case... I think I won it in a race. then on the inside of the case was a pin up girl decal... frm Kresge's dime store...thanks
My very first date ever was at the Arcadia ...I was in 5th grade at Stewart school..about 1946. I was about 10 years. old My mother gave me instructions on how to behave, to be respectful etc..and an extra quarter to buy her a soda.. so I took Shirley Watts to go skating, and always thankful for my mothers instruction...
