Huszagh and Hill were the architects for the Aragon Ballroom, Viceroy (Lorelei) Hotel, New Lawrence, and many other buildings.
ReplyDeleteHuszagh and Masson were the financiers for the Aragon and many other buildings.
Beyond that, I don't know much about either company, or how much they overlapped.
It is a stunning building.
What street would Castlewood Terrace be now?
ReplyDeleteBecky - Its still called Castlewood Terrace, its been a dead end street since the McCutcheon school was built. access is from Marine Drive.

My mother grew up on Castlewood Terrace and one of those big homes in the 1920s and 30s and I have pictures of her and her siblings and her mother in front of one of they are house
