I believe this is referring to the site which is now Warren Park, where the Edgewater Golf Club relocated to in the early 1900's.

They can convey two travelers at any given moment, and has compartments for your golf club. These trucks are prevalent in fairways in light of the fact that it limits the need to stroll around the course as you pursue your ball.
