That's the problem with kids these days! Back in the 70's, when men were men and kids were kids, we played on playground equipment that was simultaneously creepy AND potentially fatal!
Somewhere on the Web there is a site dedicated to creepy and inappropriate playground equipment; I'll have to try to find it. :-)
The one I'm thinking of was specifically Soviet and Eastern Bloc creepy playground equipment!
