Caption: Fur and hair should fly when a football team composed of blondes from the Tivoli Theatre in Chicago, play a team composed of brunettes from the Uptown Theatre...
Thanks to a local reader for the head's up on these! You can click on each of the thumbnails or follow this link to see the full-size images and complete captions as well as pricing information. (And look closely, the women are wearing heels!)
Update: BWChicago writes in to tell us that these were taken at Wrigley Field, before they installed bleachers and the upper deck.

That's Wrigley field, before they installed bleachers and the upper deck
Thanks! We were trying to figure out which field this was.
The girl in the first picture looks a lot like Kristen Schaal (Mel in Flight of the Conchords)
You're right, she does--maybe her great-grandmother? :-)
Footballer Harold "Red" Grange had just finished filming One Minute to Play, which dates these photos to 1926, the year after the Uptown Theatre was built. The Tivoli, built in 1921, was at 63rd and Cottage Grove. This "match" was a true Northside/Southside rivalry.
To confirm 1926, the upper deck began to be added later that year, and the left half of bleachers were removed in 1925
