I took that train in the 80s when we moved to Wolcott & Montrose while I was still enrolled in Swift Elementary in Edgewater. My older sister rode it with me daily but there was a time when she was sick and I had to take it solo for the week. I recall my mother telling me exactly what to do & where to get off. It was quite the adventure for nine year old me.
