Wilson Avenue, Circa 1921

The back of this postcard reads, "Wilson Avenue is one of the busiest thoroughfares outside of the Loop. This avenue leads to the Wilson and Municipal Bathing Beaches, where thousands of people enjoy the cool Lake Michigan. In the background of this view is shown the new Sheridan-Plaza Hotel, located at Wilson Ave. and Sheridan Road."

This is an amazing view! Its hard to imagine what has replaced both of those great buildings on each corner of Broadway and Wilson.

Agree completely with previous comment!

Anyone have any photos that include the SouthEast corner of Broadway and Wilson from early 1970's when Bisset's Department Store was located there? If so, please post or inform where I can find. Thanks.
